Raising student awareness
Mohawk College’s Faculty of Industrial Engineering is on the leading edge of lean education. They recently began a promotional campaign with the goal of reaching future students as well as organizations.
One of the major problems facing the department was the lack of awareness among high school students of what industrial engineering was. Creating videos to explain and promote the concept was a quick and simple solution. Copies could be given out at university fairs or high schools. A version was also created for the College’s website.
eMotion went to work, shooting on location at the Mohawk campus. The videos incorporate interviews from current students, professors and alumni working in the field. We blended in music and animations, titles and a voiceover. It looked and felt like a big budget production, completed at a fraction of the cost. We’ve already begun work on their next project.
